Dongfang Turbine Co., Ltd. and Austria AMSC Windtec company establish the partnership for the design and development of 2.5MW wind turbines jointly, and all the intellectual property rights is owned by Dongfang Turbine Co., Ltd. The WTGS uses double-fed asynchronous generator, in cooperation with speeding up gear box, delivering the power of high quality to the grid through the transformer. To adapt to the environment in China, the normal temperature and low temperature units were designed respectively. And to adapt to different wind zones, the units adapted toⅡ and Ⅲ wind zones were designed respectively. Currently, the prototypes have been developed and are being installed and preparing for commissioning at Zhangbei Testing Wind Farm in Hebei. |
